1. Purpose of Policy

We are committed to protecting the privacy of individuals and are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Act). We will only collect, use or disclose personal information in accordance with the Act and this Privacy Policy.

Your choice: by providing personal information to us, you understand we will collect, hold, use, and disclose your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy. You do not have to provide personal information to us, however, if you do not, it may affect your use of our website or the products and/or services offered on or through it.

Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights over your personal information. Be forgotten by us: you can do this by asking us to erase any personal data we hold about you, if it is no longer necessary for us to hold the data for purposes of your use of Lawmee. You will then no longer be able to use our services.

Lodge a complaint: please tell us first, so we have a chance to address your concerns. Lawmee only processes your personal information in accordance with this privacy notice and in compliance with Australian privacy laws. If, however you wish to raise a complaint regarding the processing of your personal information, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, either by calling their helpline or as directive on their website at www.oaic.gov.au

Unsubscribe: to unsubscribe from our site or email database or opt-out of communications (including marketing communications), please contact us using the details provided in this privacy policy, or opt-out using the opt-out facilities provided in the communication. We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity.
